Megan Downey - Gates

Megan Downey - Gates is an experienced professional in higher education and career services, currently serving as Program Director for Occupational Support at Grand Rapids Community College since January 2022, where responsibilities include coaching students with diverse backgrounds and developing funding pipelines. In addition, Megan holds the position of President Elect at the Michigan Occupational Special Populations Association and is the Founder and Owner of Downey Insights, LLC, a career consultation service aimed at helping young professionals realize their career aspirations. Prior roles include multiple positions at the University of Michigan and UNC Charlotte, where Megan focused on student career development and engagement.
