Ashleigh Palmiter

Ashleigh Palmiter is an experienced educator with a focus on social studies, currently serving as a Social Studies Educator at Grand Rapids Public Museum since 2018. Previously, Ashleigh taught 7th and 8th grade social studies at Ridge Park Charter Academy from 2015 to 2018 and worked as a Teacher/Mentor at Jenison International Academy from 2012 to 2015, where responsibilities included lesson planning, data analysis, and curriculum development. Additional roles included Lead Teacher for an after-school program and various substitute teaching assignments across multiple schools. Ashleigh holds a Master’s Degree in Literacy Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Group Social Studies, both from Grand Valley State University.
