Sarah Humes

Sarah Humes is an experienced museum professional currently serving as Associate Registrar at Grand Rapids Public Museum since August 2018, where responsibilities include exhibition and loan registration, artifact care, and collaboration with the education team to develop engaging programs. Previously, Sarah was a Collections Specialist at Kalamazoo Valley Museum for a brief period in 2019, and served as Museum Registrar there from 2010 to 2018. Earlier roles include various positions in the banking sector and an internship at Michigan History Museum, focusing on curatorial assistance. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History, Museum Studies, and Journalism from Central Michigan University.
