Rusty Darter is an experienced mortgage lending professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Vice President Of Mortgage Lending at Grand River Bank since March 2014, Rusty specializes in personal finance, assisting clients with home purchases and debt restructuring. Prior experience includes roles as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Macatawa Bank and Chemical Bank (formerly Byron Bank) and as a Mortgage Lender at City Federal Mortgage. Earlier in the career, Rusty was the Vice President - Mortgage Sales Manager at Independent Bank, leading a team to achieve $120 million in mortgage loan origination in 2005. Rusty began the professional journey at Byron Bank as Assistant Vice President, Mortgage Lender, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Calvin University.
