Austin Curd

Austin Curd has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Austin began their career at Dink's Pit Bar-B-Que, a family business, where they worked as a Dishwasher, Cook, and Catering coordinator from 1994 to 2002.

In 2002, Austin joined Arvest Bank as a Teller and later became an Internal Auditor through the Leadership Development Program. During their time at Arvest Bank, they worked on various audit projects and gained experience in Bank Operations, CIS, Trust, Mortgage, Insurance, Investments, Proof/Item Processing, Indirect Lending, and Finance Company. Austin left Arvest Bank in 2008.

From 2008 to 2011, Austin worked at Liberty Bank as a Teller and later served as the Internal Auditor for the Northwest Arkansas area. In this role, they conducted Branch Operations Audits and worked on operational and financial audits as directed by management.

In 2011, Austin joined ConocoPhillips as an Associate in the Cost and Investment/AFE team. Austin set up capital and expense projects in SAP for the Canadian region, provided cost analysis, and performed necessary cost entries. Later, they became a Fixed Asset Analyst responsible for PP&E accounting entries for UK and Norway Business Units and provided monthly DD&A analysis for North Sea assets. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Staff Analyst, where they coordinated AR - Other, AR - Trade, and Owners Payable/Suspense account reconciliations and communicated monthly fluctuation analysis for AR balance sheet accounts. Austin worked in various positions at ConocoPhillips until 2019.

In 2019, Austin joined the Grand River Dam Authority as a Senior Utility Asset Analyst, where they worked until 2021. During this time, they provided valuable insights and expertise in utility asset analysis. Austin then became the Fixed Asset Accounting Supervisor, overseeing the fixed asset accounting functions.

Austin Curd earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Oklahoma from 1999 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance, General at Oklahoma Wesleyan University from 2013 to 2015.
