Corie Crittenden has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Corie began their career at Kansas State University as a Dispatcher in 2003 before transitioning to Neosho Elementary School as a Computer Lab Technician in 2004. In 2005, they joined Bacone College as an Admissions Recruiter and later moved to Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology - Okmulgee in the same role. In 2009, Corie became a Claims Adjuster at Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance and then moved to Integrated Insurance Services as a Commercial Lines CSR in 2010. Corie joined Grand River Dam Authority in 2012 as an Administrative Technician and progressively advanced to roles such as Assistant Superintendent - Generation Project Administration, Superintendent - Generation Contract Administration, and ultimately as a Business Analyst II and Business Analyst III. Corie'stenure at Grand River Dam Authority lasted until the present day.
Corie Crittenden began their education journey in 1994 by completing their High School Diploma at Ness City High School. Corie then pursued higher education by enrolling at Barton Community College from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration and Management. Moving forward, they attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University from 2000 to 2001, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Finally, from 2001 to 2003, they studied at Kansas State University, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
Grand River Dam Authority
GRDA utilizes a diverse portfolio of electric generation assets to keep rates low and reliability high. This gas, coal, water and wind portfolio includes Oklahoma’s first hydroelectric facility; the state’s only pumped-storage project; the first M501J gas turbine deployed in the Western Hemisphere and other generation assets. GRDA transmits and delivers this wholesale electricity across its 24-county service area in Northeast Oklahoma via a sophisticated energy delivery system. GRDA sells electricity to three customer classes: municipals, electric cooperatives and industries. GRDA also manages 70,000 surface acres of lake waters in Oklahoma, including Grand Lake, Lake Hudson and the W.R. Holway Reservoir. GRDA also fulfills this stewardship mission in its management of the waters of the scenic Illinois River.
