Heather Kurzbauer is a professional violinist who currently works as a European Correspondent for The Violin Channel, a member of the Circle of Advisors for Symphony Orchestras subsidies at Raad voor Cultuur, and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Amsterdam. Heather holds a PhD in Law from the University of Amsterdam, along with a Master of Laws (LL.M.), a B.A. cum laude in History of Art, Music, Sociology from Yale University, and an M.M. with Honors from Yale University. Kurzbauer is also a blogger for Violinist.com and a panelist for the International Federation of Musicians (FIM).
