Jeffrey J. Bussey

Jeffrey J. Bussey has a diverse work experience that spans over several positions in the hospitality industry. Jeffrey J. started their career at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in 2004 as an F&B Server, where they gained a wide range of skills in both front and back of house positions. In 2008, they joined Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos as a Guest Relations Host and later progressed to become an F&B Supervisor, where they excelled in elevating restaurant sales and received recognition for their leadership excellence. In 2011, Jeffrey became a Sales Manager, responsible for casino marketing, new customer acquisition, meeting & event planning, corporate sponsorships, group & hotel sales, catering & conference services. Notably, they successfully managed all sponsorship sales for the ISOC 2013 National Snowcross event, featuring on national television coverage. In 2013, they became an Executive Host, utilizing their experience to promote the Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos to new and existing markets. Their most recent role is the Player Development Executive, a key member of a highly progressive Player Development team, showcasing their expertise in promoting the resort to a wide range of markets. In April 2022, they were promoted to the role of Player Development Manager, overseeing the promotion and management of the Player Development department across three properties. Throughout their work experience, Jeffrey has consistently strived to provide memorable guest service and grow a database of players.
