As a business owner and EVP/COO, Paul Nemschoff successfully led Nemschoff, a legacy healthcare furniture manufacturer and family owned business, toward an annualized growth average of +15 percent, EBITDA growth of over 100 percent and customer facing strategies enabling it to be routinely recognized as the #1 healthcare brand in the contract office industry.
He provided strategic guidance on the successful sale of the company to Herman Miller in 2009. Following the sale, Paul assisted Herman Miller with the integration of the combined companies and held the position of Vice President of Seating at Herman Miller where he directed Profit and Loss responsibility for the industry’s most iconic product portfolio. During his tenure he led the reinvention and launch of the Mirra platform and created solid growth in revenue, margin enhancement and operating income.
Additionally, Paul offers his value creation talents to venture capital and private equity groups. In these various roles he contributes as a consultant, c-suite mentor and board member.
Paul has a Masters in Business from Georgetown University and previously worked with Toyota Motor Sales in a variety of strategic roles in areas ranging from financial services to information services and logistics.
Paul’s passion for performance extends outside of the office. He is a winning offshore powerboat racer, possessing several world records, and is an inductee in the American Power Boat Association Hall of Champions in Detroit, MI. He also has a passion for endurance sports, and has completed more than 25 triathlons including the Arizona Ironman and two Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
Paul is a community advocate and has sat on a variety of philanthropic boards, including the Sheboygan Aurora Foundation, John Michael Kohler Art Center and Sheboygan Chamber of Commerce. In his free time you will find him golfing, skiing and traveling with his family.
