Russell Ballard has a diverse work experience in the field of real estate and finance. Russell started their career as a Junior Analyst at MortgageRamp where they negotiated and contracted asset management evaluations. Russell then worked as an Acquisitions Intern at UDR, researching and identifying multifamily properties for investment opportunities. Ballard later joined Apartment Realty Advisors as an intern, where they prepared offering memorandums and cash flow models.

In 2006, they became an Underwriter at Column Guaranteed, a Credit Suisse Company, underwriting Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans and performing financial analyses. Following this, Ballard worked as a Senior Loan Underwriter at Walker & Dunlop, underwriting loans and conducting cash flow analysis for multifamily properties.

Since 2012, Ballard has been associated with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, initially starting as an Assistant Vice President/Team Leader. Russell then advanced to the role of Deputy Chief Underwriter/Vice President and currently holds the position of Deputy Chief Underwriter/Credit Risk Manager/Senior Vice President.
