John Bard

John Bard is an experienced blaster currently employed at Grande Cache Coal Corp since November 2007, where responsibilities include ensuring safe blasting procedures. In addition to serving as a blaster, John holds the title of lead blaster and possesses a BC ticket from Alberta and a WCB ticket for British Columbia, with proficiency in operating various types of loaders and currently learning to operate a 785 drill. Prior to this, John worked at Orica from January 2004 to March 2009 as an MMU operator, managing and maintaining a bunk explosive truck.
