Stefano Pieri

Stefano Pieri is an experienced professional in the maritime and logistics sectors, currently serving as Freight Sales Manager at GNV since January 2025. Previously, Stefano held the position of Senior Business Development Manager at Contship Italia from February 2023 to December 2024, where responsibilities included fostering new traffic at port terminals and expanding the international network. Prior to this, Stefano worked at CMA CGM from January 2017 to February 2023, directing BreakBulk, Out Of Gauge, and Project cargo activities in Italy, and founding the Italian Project Cargo Desk. Stefano's extensive career began at APL in July 2000, where various roles focused on land and sea operations across the Mediterranean and included significant responsibilities in marketing and trade management. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Law with a specialization in Maritime Law from Università degli Studi di Genova and a degree in International Economics through an Erasmus exchange at Mercury Business School in Finland.
