Cesare Salvini is the Chief Marketing & Media Officer at GRANDI STAZIONI RETAIL S.P.A. Cesare has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on the automotive industry.

Salvini began their career in 2001 with Fiat Group Automobiles, where they held various positions in marketing and communications. In 2011, they joined Mercedes-Benz Italia as Marketing Director. During their time at Mercedes-Benz Italia, they were responsible for product, communication, digital, and retail marketing. Cesare was also responsible for the launch of the new A Class, which was a revolution for the brand. Cesare transformed the marketing culture and developed a data-driven approach.

In October 2018, they joined Publicis Emil as Global Account Director. In this role, they were responsible for influencing upstream strategy of AMG and smart with relevant data and market insights. Cesare also orchestrated around a customer journey approach and executed campaigns for global creative agencies.

In November 2019, they joined GRANDI STAZIONI RETAIL S.P.A. as Chief Marketing & Media Officer. In this role, they are responsible for the company’s overall marketing and communications strategy.

Cesare Salvini attended the liceo classico tito livio before studying economics at Università Ca'​ Foscari Venezia. Cesare then completed the Young Managers Program at INSEAD, and finally the Financial Seminar for Senior Managers at London Business School.

Cesare Salvini reports to Alberto Baldan, CEO. They are on a team with Susanna Bernardini - CTO, Francesco Tagliapietra - CFO, and Anna Comanducci - Chief Legal Officer.
