Ilani Harun has a diverse work experience in technical support and engineering roles. Ilani started their career as an intern at FantastiC Sourcing in 2007 and later worked as an intern at CNRS in 2010. At Maxis Communications Bhd, they worked as a Radio Access Network Engineer from 2011 to 2013, where they were responsible for database integrations and configurations, site upgrades, and support planning. Ilani then joined Comverse as a Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer from 2013 to 2015, providing technical support for the NetCentrex VoIP solution and performing analysis of logs and network traces. Currently, Ilani works as a VOIP Technical Support Engineer at Grandstream Networks starting from 2019.

Ilani Harun attended the Institute Universitaire de Nice-Sophia Antipolis from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Diploma in Telecommunications and Networking. Ilani went on to study at Université Côte d'Azur, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from 2007 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Telecommunications and Microelectronic Systems at the same university from 2008 to 2010.
