Andy van Buren

Andy Van Buren has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andy began their career in 1994 as an Advertising Designer/Imaging Specialist/Auxiliary Technician at CNS/ThisWeek News, where they produced various types of ads and handled artwork using QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. In 2000, Andy joined Univenture, Inc as an Electronic Pre-Press Coordinator, overseeing the pre-press department and ensuring accuracy in negatives and preflighted files. Andy then moved on to Weisenbach Recycled Products in 2002, working as a Graphics Coordinator responsible for producing graphics-related materials using a range of design software. In 2004, Andy joined State Auto Insurance as an Application Support Engineer III, where they designed and implemented an automated invoicing system, reducing approval time and improving efficiency. Currently, Andy works at Grange Insurance as a Lead Application Developer, a position they have held since 2014.

Andy Van Buren obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Devry University in the years 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from Ohio University between 1988 and 1993. In addition, Andy has obtained multiple certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, SQL Essential Training, Guidewire Specialist Certification, Programming Foundations, and Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself.
