Mark L. Boxer

Dr. Mark L. Boxer joined the Grange Insurance Company Board of Directors in 2013 and serves on the Investment and Corporate Governance Committees. He chairs the Corporate Governance Committee. Mark serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the University of Hartford. He is also an Executive Venture Partner with Health Enterprise Partners. Mark retired from Cigna as its Executive Vice President and Global Chief Information and Digital Officer in 2020, having served in that role since 2011. Prior to Cigna, he served in various leadership roles at the Xerox Corporation, Anthem, and Hewlett Packard. Mark serves on the board of the University of Connecticut Foundation, where he chairs the Audit and Compliance Committee and was a founding member of the Internet Ecosystem Innovation Committee. He also is an independent director for the EIS Group, a leading software company, Visitors Medical University, and CGI Federal (US Sub). Mark has the distinguished honor of holding a Certificate in Cyber Risk Oversight from the National Association of Corporate Directors.
