Rajiv Thomas

Rajiv Thomas, CFA, currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Grange Insurance, where responsibilities include driving the enterprise-wide risk framework, managing capital under an economic capital framework, designing and executing reinsurance strategy, and overseeing corporate development activities. Prior positions at Grange Insurance included AVP roles focused on enterprise risk management and M&A, with significant contributions to the company's M&A capability and growth strategies. Prior to Grange, Rajiv held various senior roles in corporate reinsurance at Nationwide Insurance, managing extensive reinsurance placements, analytics, and innovative financial products such as catastrophe bonds. Rajiv is also a board member at Huckleberry House, Inc., which supports at-risk youth in Central Ohio. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Statistics from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Jobs Remote, along with the CFA designation obtained from the CFA Institute.
