Erik Shandrowski

Erik Shandrowski has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Erik started their career in 1994 as a Front Office Supervisor at Residence Inn by Marriott and worked there until 1998. Erik then joined Calderwood-Mackelprang, Inc. as an Office Manager, where they managed a team and handled various responsibilities such as HR, accounting, IT, scheduling, and customer service.

In 2014, Erik transitioned into the field of web development and attended a full-stack web development apprenticeship at RefactorU. During this time, they gained expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, MongoDB, Express, Bootstrap, and web sockets.

After their apprenticeship, they worked as a Front-End Web Developer at Completely Verified, where they created web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap. Erik also developed single-page web applications with AngularJS and JavaScript.

In the same year, Erik joined Granicus as a Web Developer & Designer, where they were responsible for maintaining and developing new products for the company's legislative management and video streaming software. Erik utilized technologies such as React, Ruby on Rails, PHP, .NET, HTML, and CSS.

Over the years, Erik took on various roles at Granicus, including Web Services Team Lead and Web Services Manager. In these positions, they led teams, provided technical expertise, trained and mentored team members, handled client escalations, and developed ADA compliance processes for Granicus' CMS.
