Sharon Rushen

Sharon Rushen has over 15 years of work experience in communications and public relations. Sharon currently holds the position of Director of Strategic Communications and PR at Granicus. Before that, they worked at Sage Communications as a Public Relations Account Director and Account Manager. Prior to that, they held various roles at Apex Parks Group, including Corporate Marketing and Public Relations Director, Director of Marketing, and Marketing Manager. Sharon also worked as a Digital Engagement Specialist for USSOCOM and as a Public Affairs Specialist at CERDEC. Sharon'scareer began as a Journalist at The Central Record.

Sharon Rushen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Hofstra University in the years 2003-2006. Sharon then pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy from Monmouth University from 2008 to 2011. In 2011-2012, they completed the Public Affairs Leadership Qualification Course at Defense Information School.
