Andy Halligan is an experienced soccer coach and manager with a robust background in both athletic and facility management. Currently serving as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at the University of New England since August 2024, Andy has held various coaching and managerial positions, including Director of Facilities and Business Operations Manager at Granite Bay Care, Inc. since February 2018, and Head Coach of the Maine Lightning Soccer Club since January 2020. Andy's contributions to soccer development are evident through roles such as Program Director and Head Coach for the U17 Boys at the Maine Olympic Development Program since December 2016, and Head Coach for the U18 Boys at GPS Maine since April 2010. Past coaching experiences include serving as an Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Saint Joseph's College and at the University of Southern Maine. Andy holds a Master’s Degree in Recreation and Sports Science with a concentration in Soccer Coaching from Ohio University and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Maine.
