Donald McMurtrey

Donald McMurtrey has extensive experience in the construction industry, currently serving as Construction Technology Manager and previously as Project Engineer for Granite Construction since August 2015. Notable projects include managing subcontractors on a $17.1 million pedestrian grade separation bridge and overseeing a $153 million, 5-mile arterial highway project that posed environmental challenges. Prior to this role, Donald worked at Kiewit from May 2010 to July 2015 as Earthwork Superintendent and Field Engineer on various significant projects, including a $1.2 billion project and a $30 million flood project for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Earlier experience includes internships at the Nevada Department of Transportation. Donald holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, earned in 2010.
