Jake Housel

Jake Housel possesses extensive experience in education and community engagement, currently serving as a Social Studies Teacher for 11th grade U.S. history at Granite School District since September 2020. Previously, Jake held significant roles at United Way of Salt Lake, including School Network Director and Community School Director at Kearns High and Oquirrh Hills Elementary, where responsibilities included continuous improvement in academic and health disparities and implementing programs to serve diverse student populations. Additionally, Jake worked as a Corporate Engagement Advisor and Fundraising Coordinator at the Muscular Dystrophy Association, demonstrating skills in relationship building and fundraising strategies. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Theology from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Utah State University.
