Jim Fowler

Project Engineer at Granite State Manufacturing

Jim Fowler has a long and varied work experience. Jim started their career in 1984 as an Industrial Engineering Specialist at General Electric Co. where they generated ECOs for engineering documentation, created and optimized assembly methods and fixturing, and performed as a Material Review Board member. In 1989, they moved to Kevlin Microwave Corporation where they implemented a 3D CAD system, designed and detailed RF rotary couplers, and performed design and drawing checking. In 2012, they became a Configuration Manager at COBHAM where they managed a Document Control team and facilitated Engineering Change Orders for multiple product lines. In 2016, they were an Engineering Quality Manager at Kingfisher Co. Inc. In 2018, they moved to ATI Flowform Products as an Engineer II, Technology where they managed and developed engineering calculations, process drawings, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. Finally, in 2020, they became a Project Engineer at Granite State Manufacturing where they managed customer contracts, developed manufacturing plans, bills of material, routings, work instructions, shop drawings, and tooling, and provided daily support of MRB on the shop floor.

Jim Fowler attended Merrimack College, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering in 1990.
