Riikka Linna has a diverse work experience in various communication roles. Riikka started their career as a part-time journalist at Länsi-Uusimaa in 2005. Then they worked as a Communications Assistant at Finnish Business College from 2006 to 2008, where they managed both internal and external communications, including editing magazines and implementing marketing materials.

From 2008 to 2011, Riikka worked as a Communications Designer at Vahanen Group, where they handled development projects related to internal, external, marketing, and client communications. Riikka also organized communications trainings and managed marketing and internal communications for the Russian subsidiary.

After that, Riikka joined Arctech Helsinki Shipyard in 2011 as a Communications Manager, where they established and managed the company's external, internal, and marketing communications practices. In 2014, Riikka became the Communications Manager at Granlund Group, where they played a key role in establishing the communications function from scratch. Riikka also oversees communications and marketing for Granlund's largest business areas, which include building projects and property development.
