Steve Berkner

Steve Berkner is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public service, entrepreneurship, and journalism. Currently serving as the Zoning Administrator for Grant County Government since February 2021, Steve has also co-owned and managed Berkner Pizza, INC. since 1988. Previously, Steve held various roles in local government in Ortonville, MN, including four years as Mayor and five years on the City Council, alongside extensive experience in Planning and Zoning for 15 years. Additionally, Steve co-founded and operated GoFasters Powersports from 2003 to 2015, and has a passion for freelance journalism focused on national and international off-road motorcycle events, with expertise in photography and video production. Steve holds a degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead, earned between 1981 and 1986.
