Grant Park Music Festival
Brett Potts is an accomplished vocalist and music educator with extensive experience in choral and operatic performances. Currently serving as a Core Associate Chorister with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra since July 2022, Brett also continues to work as a licensed Sales Representative for State Farm ®. With a long tenure at the Lyric Opera of Chicago since 2013 as a Supplementary Chorister, Brett has performed in numerous productions including "Parsifal," "Tannhäuser," and "Turandot." Additional roles include singing as an Opera Singer for "Second Nature" and serving as a chorister for the Grant Park Music Festival and Fourth Presbyterian Church. Previous experience includes teaching voice and piano at the Arlington School of Music and roles with the Nickel City Opera and Cheektowaga Community Choir. Brett holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Houghton University, awarded in 2009, and received the Edwin G. Levy Young Artist Award in 2011.

Grant Park Music Festival
For nearly 90 years, the Grant Park Music Festival has been Chicago’s summer musical sensation, demonstrating that classical music performed by a world-class orchestra and chorus can have a transformative impact on the city. Showcased in the city’s most spectacular setting, the Festival continues to be the summer gathering place for all of Chicago. The Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park is the official home of the Grant Park Music Festival, with free seats available for every concert. The Festival is led by Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Carlos Kalmar, along with Grant Park Chorus Director Christopher Bell, Grant Park Orchestral Association President and CEO Paul Winberg, and Board Chair Adam Grais.
