Tony Baker P.Eng

Tony Baker P.Eng has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Tony started their career at Halliburton in 2003 as a Frac Engineer and quickly rose through the ranks to become a Principal Engineer. During their time at Halliburton, they were responsible for technical programming, sales, and managing the largest customer accounts. Tony also played a key role in introducing new technologies and techniques, such as reservoir fracturing and coil tubing operations.

In 2008, Tony joined Shell where they held various positions, including Completions Engineer, Wellsite Company Person, and Engineering Team Lead. Tony eventually became the Superintendent, overseeing multiple operations in the Duvernay and Montney regions. Tony achieved exceptional results at Shell, holding operational and cost efficiency records for Shell Americas. Tony also received prestigious awards, such as the Performance Excellence Award for high-pressure fracturing contract management and the Most Competitive Wells Team Award in a global competition.

In 2018, Tony joined Grant Production Testing Services Ltd. as the Vice President Operations/Engineering, demonstrating their leadership skills and expertise in managing operations at a senior level.

Tony Baker P.Eng earned their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Tony completed this program between the years 1996 and 2003.
