Bob O.

Bob O. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Bob started their career as a Web Developer Consultant at N.C. State University, where they created an online municipal bond and note debt auction platform. Bob then joined The Shodor Education Foundation as a Perl Developer, where they honed their programming skills and created interactive educational software.

Bob joined Grant Street Group as the Director of Software Development in 1999 and led a talented team of web application developers. Bob later became the Senior Director of E-Payment Technology, overseeing all technology-related aspects of the company's electronic payments business. In this role, they managed software development teams and ensured alignment between technology goals and business strategy.

In 2016, Bob took on the role of Payment Technology Strategist at Grant Street Group, where they defined and evolved the strategic technology roadmap for the e-payments platform. Bob researched industry developments, educated colleagues and senior leaders, and supported product development through extensive knowledge of technology and security.

Currently, Bob O. is the Strategic Partnerships Director, Payments & Compliance at Grant Street Group. Bob builds productive external partnerships in payment processing, identifies and onboards strategic partners, and manages these relationships. Bob also conducts research on new technologies, develops analytical tools, and collaborates with product owners and development teams to chart the strategic path forward.

Bob O. has a BS in Mathematics from North Carolina State University. Bob also obtained the Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification from NACHA - The Electronic Payments Association in October 2018.
