Azat Petrosyan

IT Auditor at Grant Thornton Armenia

Azat Petrosyan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Web Developer at CAMRIS International, Inc., where they designed, developed, tested, and deployed web applications. Azat also coordinated with other designers and programmers to develop web projects and collaborated with staff and teams to develop and deploy content.

In 2011, Azat moved on to VXSoft Ltd, where they served as an Executive Director. In this role, they were responsible for operational planning and management of the company, human resources planning and management, and financial planning and management. Azat also took on the position of Project Manager, overseeing VXSoft's E-governance projects for the Government of Armenia, including the implementation of projects such as E-Police, E-Register, E-Citizen, and E-civil. Azat supervised the programming team working on these projects.

In 2021, Azat joined GT as a Senior Manager, and later that year, they also took on the role of IT Auditor at Grant Thornton Armenia.

Azat Petrosyan completed their elementary education at N132 after Admiral Isakov from 1983 to 1993. Azat then pursued higher education at the State Engineering University of Armenia, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Information Technology from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Azat Petrosyan also acquired a certification from the "Specialist" Computer Training Center, affiliated with The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, in February 2008.
