Thanasis is Partner, in Assurance service line of Grant Thornton Greece and brings multiple years of professional experience. He is a Certified Chartered Accountant and holds the ACCA professional certificate.

During his career as a Certified Chartered Accountant and Business Advisor, Thanasis Xynas has participated in audits in many industries, like shipping, metallurgy, energy, oil trade etc. He has also participated in the writing team of various Grant Thornton IFRS books as well as Grant Thornton studies on industries and Greek Economy as a whole. His experience in advisory refers mainly to IFRS appliance, internal controls procedures assessment and valuations.
