Newton Kibiru

Newton Kibiru is a Senior Associate Advisory at Grant Thornton Kenya since February 2015, with experience in preparing bids, managing tender opportunities, and leading the Hands on Skills Project, which equips youth with practical skills through TVET scholarships. Responsibilities include overseeing Grant Thornton's CSR strategy, managing project activities and budgets, handling grant applications, and fostering partnerships. Previously, Newton held roles in business development and project coordination at Biogas International Ltd, focusing on renewable energy initiatives, and gained foundational experience as an accountant and intern in financial settings. Newton is currently pursuing a Master's in Development Studies at the University of Nairobi, complementing a Bachelor's in Commerce focused on Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University.
