Hemal Shah

Hemal Shah is an accomplished finance and technology professional with extensive experience in advisory and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Advisory Services at Grant Thornton (Uganda) since July 2019, Hemal oversees a large team focused on business risk, IT advisory, and transaction advisory services. Concurrently, Hemal holds the position of Vice President of Technology at AES Signatum LLP and has previously managed various financial and project-related responsibilities at Mukwano Industries U Ltd. With a solid foundation in auditing and process assurance from roles at Crane Bank Limited, Price Waterhouse, and Reliance Capital, Hemal also possesses a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Master's degree in Computer Applications and Information Technology from Gujarat University.
