Lisa Groover

Lisa Groover is the founder of Artemis Group, a career search consulting company established in September 2024, which specializes in tailored professional career support. Prior to this venture, Groover served as an Enterprise Client Executive at Grant Thornton LLP from June 2022 to August 2024, focusing on aligning growing companies with appropriate professional services. Previous roles include Client Services Director at DLC, where Groover provided C-level interim and project support, and Senior Executive Client Advisor at Accounting Principals, where the focus was on matching client needs with candidate expertise in the Bay Area. Groover also held various positions within Accounting Principals, including Senior Solutions Manager and Staffing Manager. Additionally, Groover volunteered as the Financial Literacy Director for the ASWA San Francisco Chapter, receiving the National 2012 "Emerging Leader" Award. Groover’s career began as an Assistant Director with Grassroots Campaigns in 2004, where leadership and fundraising skills were developed. Educationally, Groover holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained in 2004.
