Marjorie Whittaker

Marjorie Whittaker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in ESG assurance services and SEC regulatory matters. At Grant Thornton LLP (US), from August 2015 to January 2022, Marjorie served as Managing Director for ESG and Sustainability, leading initiatives related to ESG disclosure implementation and stakeholder engagement. In a previous role as Managing Director focused on SEC Regulatory Matters, Marjorie provided expert guidance to audit and advisory clients on complex transactions, notably in capital markets involving IPO and SPAC processes. Additional experience includes Senior Manager at Rosetta Stone, Assistant Controller at Hilton Worldwide, and Director of Accounting Research and Policy at KPMG. Marjorie earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia, where participation included activities with Cavalier Daily and Madison House.
