John Clayton, P.Eng

John Clayton, P.Eng has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. John started their career as a Data Collection employee at Byrne Engineering Ltd in 2004. In 2008, they worked as an Electrical Shop Assistant at Hepburn Engineering Inc. John then progressed to the role of Electrical Designer at the same company in 2010, where they worked until 2017. In 2017, they joined Cygnus Consulting Inc as an Application Engineer until January 2019. Currently, they are working as a Systems Engineer at Grantek since June 2019.

John Clayton, P.Eng completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical field from Toronto Metropolitan University from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications. John achieved the P.Eng certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in June 2016. John also acquired the Ignition Gold Certification from Inductive Automation in June 2020. Furthermore, they completed the certification program "Learning SOLIDWORKS Electrical" from Lynda.com in February 2019. Most recently, in May 2022, they obtained the CPR/AED Level A certification from the Canadian Red Cross.
