Srinivas Pullela

Srinivas Pullela has extensive work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and chemical technology. Srinivas is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Granules India Limited since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the positions of President & Chief Technology Officer at PI Industries Ltd from April 2021 to August 2022, and Senior Vice President from July 2019 to April 2021. Before joining PI Industries Ltd, Srinivas was Head, Corporate API R&D at Cipla from February 2014 to June 2019. Srinivas also served as Head, API R&D at Biocon from June 2011 to January 2014, Chief Scientific Manager from April 2008 to June 2011, and Senior Manager from July 2007 to April 2008. Earlier in their career, Srinivas worked as a Scientist at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology from May 1989 to July 2007, and as a Research Associate at Searle (India) Ltd. from November 1987 to May 1989.

Srinivas Pullela obtained a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad. Srinivas completed this degree at an unknown time frame. Prior to their Ph.D., Pullela pursued M.Sc in Organic Chemistry from the University of Bombay between 1985 and 1987. Later, they pursued a PDF (Post-Doctoral Fellowship) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at NCNPR University of Mississippi from 2003 to 2005.
