Amy Tolbert

Amy Tolbert has over 25 years of experience in education, serving currently as an English and Journalism Teacher at Granville Exempted Village School District since August 2008. In this role, Amy has developed innovative, technology-infused lessons and analyzed data to plan instruction. Collaboration with fellow educators has been a key focus, including efforts to align curriculum across grade levels and mentoring student teachers. Additionally, Amy has served as Student Media Adviser for an award-winning newsmagazine, leading a student staff to national recognition. Previous positions included roles as Yearbook Adviser and English Teacher in various school districts, along with internships in television production and educational outreach. Amy holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Education in Reading Specialist and a Bachelor of Arts in English Education.
