Samuel Kong

Samuel Kong has a strong background in hardware engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. Samuel started their career as an intern hardware engineer at Imagination Technologies in 2014. Following this, they joined Imagination Technologies as a graduate hardware engineer in 2015, where they worked on front-end SoC design, including CPU, GPU, and RPU subsystems. Samuel also contributed to the company's sports and social club committee, organizing social events and lunch outings. In 2017, Samuel joined Sondrel Ltd as a hardware engineer before transitioning to Graphcore in 2018. At Graphcore, they started as a silicon design engineer and later became a logical design team lead. Overall, Samuel's experience covers a range of engineering roles, demonstrating their expertise in hardware design and their ability to take on leadership responsibilities.

Samuel Kong attended Wallington County Grammar School from 2004 to 2011, where they completed their high school education. Samuel then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electronic and Information Engineering at Imperial College London from 2011 to 2015.
