Paul MacKintosh has extensive experience in the field of health, safety, and environment. Paul currently serves as the Chief Risk and Sustainability Officer at Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked for Arrow Energy for over 11 years as a Health Safety Environment Manager, starting in July 2011 and continuing until January 2023. Before their role at Arrow Energy, Paul held positions at Origin Energy as a Senior HSSE Advisor - Risk from March 2010 to July 2011, and at Brickworks Building Products (Bristile) as an HSE & Compliance Manager - East Coast from September 2007 to March 2010. Paul also served as a Senior HSSE Advisor at MB Century Drilling Limited from September 2006 to September 2007. Earlier in their career, Paul worked at Wesfarmers (ColesMyer) as a Corporate Health & Safety Adviser from October 2003 to September 2006 and at Placer Dome Inc as an Occupational Health & Hygienist from September 2000 to October 2003.

Paul MacKintosh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science, Human Movement Studies from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1996 to 2000. Paul then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety at QUT in 1999. In 2009, they enrolled at The University of Queensland and completed a Master's degree in Business Administration in 2012. In 2014, Paul attended a course on "Contributing to Shell Projects" at Royal Dutch Shell. Paul also obtained certifications such as "Chartered Member No.170377" from IOSH in September 2016, "Fundamentals of Process Safety" from the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) in July 2016, and "Chartered Member No. 6074" from the Australian Institute of Health & Safety in August 2006. Additionally, in 2016, they studied the "Fundamentals of Process Safety" at the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
