Amaia Pesquera

Amaia Pesquera has over 10 years of work experience. From 2010 to present, they have worked at Graphenea as a Product Development Manager, Production Manager, and Research Laboratory Technician. In 2010, they also began working at imec as a Research Fellow, where they investigated different stress-inducing layers for the fabrication of ultra-thin wafers, screened and identified materials for inducing stress on silicon wafers, and tested them. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at Fundación LEIA, C.D.T. as a Research Fellow, where they synthesized biocombustibles and bioproducts of high added value, developed new renewable technologies at an industrial and pilot plant level, and analyzed processes through spectroscopic techniques.

Amaia Pesquera obtained a Master in Synthetic and Industrial Chemistry from the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in 2008. Prior to this, they obtained a degree in Chemistry from the same university between 2002 and 2007.
