Mao Geng

Mao Geng has extensive work experience in the field of site reliability engineering and performance engineering. They began their career in 2005 as an Associate IT Architect at IBM Solution and Services, where they focused on integrating back-end systems. They then joined Oracle in 2006 as a Member of Technology Staff, where they worked on performance and scalability tests for various Oracle products. In 2008, they moved to EMC as a Senior Performance Engineer before joining SuccessFactors in 2009 as a Principal Performance Engineer. Mao then worked at Sumo Logic as a Site Reliability Engineer from 2014 to 2016 and at Pinterest as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer from 2016 to 2017. They then joined SAP SuccessFactors as a Development Architect from 2017 to 2021. From 2021 to 2022, Mao worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Fast before becoming the Director of Site Reliability Engineering at StreamNative from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Mao is serving as the Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Graphite Health.

Mao Geng completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, Mao Geng obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates and CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator as well as CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in August 2020.
