Maggie Kennedy

Maggie Kennedy is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Project Manager at GIT (Graphite Innovation & Technologies) since May 2021. In addition to this role, Maggie has been a Sail Canada Learning Facilitator since May 2016, where certification as a learning facilitator has enabled training of over 40 coaches in Canada. Previous positions include Strategic and Innovation Advisor at the Port of Halifax from April 2019 to April 2021, Special Projects Manager at Dragon Veterinary Inc. from January to August 2018, and Head Race Coach at The Waegwoltic Club from June 2012 to September 2017, where over 200 young sailors were coached. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Dalhousie University and TBS Education, a BEd from Mount Saint Vincent University, and a BS in Psychology from Acadia University.
