Emil Larsson

Emil Larsson is a highly experienced machine learning engineer and data scientist with a robust background in developing and implementing machine learning solutions across various industries. Currently serving as a Board Member and Machine Learning Engineer at Modulai since August 2018, Emil previously led a team at Widespace as a Data Scientist, focusing on recommender systems for personalized ad delivery. At Klarna, Emil progressed from Senior Risk Analyst to Risk Analyst, contributing to machine learning innovations, including a patented system for identifying returning customers and a model that enhanced the Klarna Checkout experience. Emil has also completed a Master's thesis on feature interactions using Restricted Boltzmann Machines and has interned at WaveCraft AB and Scania, focusing on system improvements. Emil holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University and additional international educational experiences.
