Bethany Lockwood is an experienced elementary school teacher with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving at Grass Lake Community Schools since August 2017, Bethany teaches 5th Grade ELA and Social Studies and has previously taught 3rd grade. Prior experience includes teaching 4th and 5th grade Social Studies and 5th grade reading at Marshall Public Schools from August 2014 to July 2017, along with coaching in the Girls On The Run program. Additionally, from August 2012 to July 2014, Bethany taught 2nd grade at Hamadeh Educational Services and served in at-risk after school and summer programs. A long-term substitute role was held at Battle Creek Public Schools for 4th grade ELA and math in early 2012. Bethany Lockwood earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with concentrations in Elementary and Secondary Education from The University of Olivet in 2012.
