Asa LaMusga

Asa LaMusga has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2007, they served as the Student Technology Fee Committee Program Coordinator at the University of Washington, where they managed a committee responsible for allocating funds towards campus technology. During this time, they also worked as an Undergraduate Fellow at the Center for American Politics and Public Policy, performing quantitative analysis and categorizing congressional legislation.

In 2009, LaMusga became the Treasurer for the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity at the University of Washington, overseeing a $300,000 budget and managing financial operations.

Moving into the legal field, LaMusga worked as a Contract Attorney at Garden City Group in 2013 and as an Attorney at Russell and Hill, PLLC from 2013 to 2015. At Russell and Hill, PLLC, their work focused on personal injury, criminal defense, Social Security Disability appeals, and bad faith insurance claims.

In 2015, LaMusga joined Clearwater Law Group as an Attorney before transitioning to Gravis Law, PLLC in 2016. At Gravis Law, PLLC, they held multiple roles, including Principal Attorney and Chief Performance Officer. As Principal Attorney, they provided tailored legal services to clients across the country, making the law affordable and accessible. As Chief Performance Officer, they were responsible for driving progress, innovation, and improvement in workflow across all practice areas and locations.

In 2018, LaMusga became a Member of Gravis Equity, PLLC. They then took on the role of Managing Attorney for Family Law at Gravis Law, PLLC from 2019 to 2020, where they specialized in family law matters.

In addition to their roles at Gravis Law, PLLC, LaMusga also served as the Interim Senior Managing Attorney for Social Security Disability, leading a team of disability practitioners and support staff and focusing on the strategic growth of the national Social Security Disability team.

Throughout their career, LaMusga has also gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern at University Legal Assistance, representing clients in various legal areas, and at the Federal Defenders of Eastern Washington and Idaho, where they conducted activities related to defending individuals charged with federal crimes.

Asa LaMusga attended the University of Washington from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science. Later, from 2010 to 2012, Asa pursued higher education at the Gonzaga University School of Law, completing their studies and obtaining a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
