Jose Barragan

Jose Barragan has over 20 years of experience in the software development industry. Jose is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Craftercode since April 2015. In this role, they lead cross-functional teams and oversees all aspects of software development.

Additionally, Jose has served as the Chief Technology Officer at Gravity since March 2019. Jose is responsible for defining system architecture and selecting software for the organization.

Previously, Jose held various positions at Optimissa, Capital Markets Consulting from April 2015 to September 2017, including Chief Technology Officer and Solutions Architect. As the CTO, they shaped and drove the technology direction of the company, while providing technical leadership to the team.

Prior to that, Jose worked as the Chief Software Architect at Codeoscopic from October 2009 to April 2015. Jose defined system architecture and selected software for the company.

Jose's work experience also includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Accoda Business Solutions, Soft Evolutions Technology, and Livio Consulting. Additionally, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer at H-Soft.

Jose Barragan's education history is as follows:

From 2001 to 2004, Jose attended the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., where they obtained a Superior degree in Technical Engineering in Computer Science of Systems.

Prior to that, from 1998 to 2001, they studied at the Universidad de Huelva, where they also earned a Superior degree in Technical Engineering in Computer Science of Systems.

Before entering university, from 1994 to 1997, Jose attended I.E.S. Vicente Rodriguez Casado, where they completed an Average degree in Electronics of Telecommunications.

In addition to their formal education, in September 2020, Jose obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
