Patrick Lorton

SVP & CTO at Schrödinger

Patrick Lorton is the SVP and CTO of Schrödinger. Patrick has a long history of working in software development, starting as an intern at PeopleSoft in 2002. Patrick later interned at Abbott Laboratories in 2003, where they developed an asset tag tracking system. In 2004, they began working as a research assistant at Indiana University Bloomington. There, they researched Proline clustering using molecular mechanics and developed software to aid in molecular mechanics forcefield generation from quantum mechanics data. Patrick left Indiana University in 2006 to join Schrödinger.

Patrick Lorton works with Erin Davis - SVP, Enterprise Informatics, Raghu Rangaswamy - VP, India Operations, and Matt Repasky - VP, Life Sciences Products. Patrick Lorton reports to Ramy Farid, President & CEO. and Mike Beachy - SVP, Software Development reports to Patrick Lorton.
