Robert Birch

Robert Birch has worked in the hospitality industry since 2010. Robert began their career as a Town Planner for Caerphilly County Borough Council before transitioning to Sales at CarShop in 2012. Later that year, they started as a Senior Receptionist and Assistant Manager at Hostel One - Home. In 2014, they worked as a Receptionist and Consultant at High 5 Hostel, as an Operations Consultant and Designer at Sungate One Hostel, and as a Manager, Consultant, and Designer at Hostel One. In 2016, they founded HostelCoach, an independent consultancy for the hospitality industry. Finally, in 2017, they became the Head of Operations for Gravity Co-Living, where they were involved in every aspect of the process from initial brand concept to site acquisition, design, and development.

Robert Birch attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in City and Regional Planning with a focus in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning.
