Erica Adams

Erica Adams, JD, CHC has extensive experience in compliance and healthcare law. Erica is currently the Director of Compliance at Gravity Diagnostics, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at UC Health from 2014 to 2022, where they served as the Director of Compliance & Business Ethics. In this position, Erica managed the compliance program for the academic medical center and provided guidance on federal and state healthcare laws. Erica also conducted investigations, risk assessments, and audits, and developed policies and training programs. Before joining UC Health, Erica worked as an Attorney at Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, specializing in complex civil litigation related to healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. Erica has also worked as a Law Clerk at the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office and as a Student Representative for Thomson Reuters Westlaw while attending the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Erica's diverse work experience demonstrates their expertise in compliance, healthcare law, and litigation.

Erica Adams, JD, CHC, obtained their Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2009. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science/Pre-Law from Xavier University in 2005. Erica'seducational journey started with a diploma from Mother of Mercy in 2002. In 2015, Erica obtained certification in Health Care Compliance (CHC) from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). Additionally, they were admitted to the Practice of Law by the State of Ohio and the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio, in 2009.
