Charles Alec Diable

Charles Alec Diable has a diverse work experience in video editing and motion graphics. Charles Alec began their career at Gravity Road in 2013, where they worked as an Editor and Sound Recordist, creating short-form videos for an online fashion channel. Charles Alec also served as an Assistant Editor during this time. In 2014, Diable joined Fresh One Productions as an Edit Assistant, where they managed server, ingesting, and data wrangling tasks. Charles Alec also assisted with video annotations and created eye-catching thumbnails and graphics using After Effects. Charles Alec was later promoted to the role of Editor, where they produced a variety of content, including short-form videos, branded content, promos, food and drink recipe videos, and event-based videos. In 2016, Diable worked as a Freelance Video Editor at Fulwell 73, where they edited branded content for clients such as GQ, Haig whiskey, and Cartier. Charles Alec also edited sleek videos using Arri Alexa camera footage and handled audio mixing and grading. Diable returned to Gravity Road in 2016 as the In-House Post Production Lead, overseeing various projects and managing the post-production team. Charles Alec has worked on projects ranging from Spark AR filters for Footlocker EU to TikTok campaigns and TV commercials for Hotel Chocolat. Charles Alec has also provided freelance video editing and animation services for clients such as Sainsburys and Oreo. Throughout their career, Diable has demonstrated their skills in video editing, motion graphics, VFX, and content development, earning recognition as one of the Top 25 Most Influential and Inspiring Video Editors by Creativepool.

Charles Alec Diable attended the University of Surrey from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in Film studies. Their field of study was focused on Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
